As many countries are now delivering their second or third VNR, there is a greater need than ever to identify and enable strong stakeholder participation in the development of national reporting.

Among the 2024 VNR countries, there are many member states with a clear interest in diverse and inclusive participation of stakeholders in the development of national reviews. This ‘whole of society’ approach can unlock the insights and expertise of a broad array of partners and ensure a more holistic way forward for critical delivery of the SDGs.

This session will provide a high level panel discussion between key VNR countries and civil society groups, to share insights on ways to enhance the engagement of stakeholders in the VNR process.
